ABOUT US
Education In America
  • Help students change from passive to active progress, and finally reach the state of automatic progressing.
  • Help students develop from knowledge through to personality growth and thinking skills, and finally into a state of all-round development.
  • Help students develop their interests into passions, and finally into life-long goals.

Who are we

  • EIA is an international educational institution based in Boston, Massachusetts, which specializes in providing education services for Chinese students of all ages studying in the United States. We take “Educare” (namely “education care and development”) as the core concept and mission, and consider ourselves an extended family member and companion of each student. We aim to provide 4-8 years of full cycle education growth and care services in the United States for Chinese students in American secondary schools, high schools and universities.
  • Our services contain language training, application guidance, GPA academic supervision, life supervision, ideological and mental health development and so on. The company is headquartered in Boston, the center of American education, and has a private school for language training in Beijing, China, providing standardized examination training services for students who are preparing to study in the United States.
  • The company has set up an international team composed of experienced local American education professionals, Chinese senior application advisors, top Chinese and American education specialists, and Chinese and American professional teenagers’ psychological experts, aiming to provide students with five major types of professional services:
Applications for schools and universities in the United States
GPA promotion and academic supervision of secondary and high schools.
    Training for standardized language examinations.
Education growth care, including comprehensive education care and consulting services such as life skills and psychological management of studying in the United States.
    Residential camp education.

What we do and don’t do

  • Elite vs scale – we don’t provide scale services; we only supply personalized and customized education. We firmly believe that teaching students in accordance with their aptitude is the most efficient educational principle. We are willing to stand behind our values by achieving the education dreams of no more than twenty students per year.
  • In-depth services vs superficial – we do not give superficial guidance for a student’s applications, but only make targeted suggestions after in-depth understanding of them. We do not provide “trusteeship” services for a student’s applications. We only serve students whose parents are highly involved and cooperative. We firmly believe that every student is a whole universe.
Only the most in-depth understanding can match them to the most appropriate school.
  • Personalized vs generalized – we don’t make stereotyped recommendations. We don’t have a fixed “template”. We discard all the routines of applying for a school. We embrace randomness, welcome questions, and appreciate individuality. We aspire to help each student develop a distinctive personal development plan and application objective, grow into a unique, outstanding young person, and finally enter the top school of their choice.

What we provide

  • Applications for secondary schools, high schools and undergraduate schools

The core concept of U Plus Education’s application service is “deep digging, optimal matching and process control.” Based on a comprehensive understanding of a student’s attitude to learning, study habits, personality, interests, ability tendencies, psychological maturity, living habits and other particulars, as well as thorough awareness of family education concepts and values, we conduct the application process with the “Monday” platform to manage, match and apply for the most suitable school for each student, maximizing the student’s learning success.

  • GPA improvement and academic supervision in secondary and high schools

We provide comprehensive GPA counseling and academic supervision services for Chinese students who have entered American junior and senior high schools. The core of our GPA guidance is not just to instill curriculum knowledge into students, but to equip them with the appropriate methodologies. We invite experienced teachers from the United States and relevant disciplines to help students who come from China to establish a set of learning methods and habits suitable for American high school and university education as soon as possible, to ensure that students can quickly improve themselves in the right way and release their potential while improving their GPA scores. Ultimately we try to help students stand out in the fierce academic competition of the United States high school system.

  • Test preparation

As internationals, Chinese students usually need the transcripts of two types of examinations for their application – standardized language examination and standardized entrance examination. U Plus Education has established a team with 10- 20 years of teaching experience to provide our students with examination guidance covering all ages and types, including:
    ● Standardized Language Test – TOFEL &IELTS
    ● Standardized entrance examination – SSAT, SAT, ACT
    ● Additional Academic Proficiency Tests – AP, IB

  • Educare

The core value of EIA is “Educare ” including all-round educational care and guidance services for students studying in the United States, such as life management and psychological oversight. When many Chinese students leave their parents and escape from their comfort zone to study in the United States during one of the most important stages of their life, they will not only face academic challenges, but also encounter various challenges in lifestyle, ideology, culture and psychology. We are willing to share our experience, feelings and coping methods with the students. We will help them learn effectively, live a happy life and grow healthily through regular one-to-one communication, regular student gathering and sharing, regular organization of talks, and regular communication with psychologists. We believe that this is the greatest vocation of each member of EIA – to educate and care for the growth of each student like they were their own child.

  • Camp education

In order to provide students with rich and colorful extracurricular activities, EIA has been providing various types of high-quality camp instruction for students who are interested in studying in the United States and have studied in the United States since 2016, including:
Teen Enrichment Camp – To listen to the debate course of professors of Harvard Kennedy School of Politics, participate in experiments of MIT computer and network laboratories, experience the profound culture and heritage of Boston’s famous universities – we meet with our students every summer.
Branson Song & Stage Camp – Together with the American Broadway performing family, students participate in the performance of stage plays and musicals, discover and expand their hidden talents, find and experience the charm of art, and become aspiring and creative people.
Thanksgiving & Christmas Fun Camp – We provide a home-like atmosphere at a picturesque resort, authentic Chinese food, bonfire party, e- sports, action sports, artistic performance, candlelight talk, and celebration festival for our students to get together and enjoy the holiday season.
